Installments (Client)
A friendly guide to the Installments page you see as a client. Here you can follow your property payments, make a payment, upload documents, and review your history.
You won’t see any admin‑only actions here. This page and guide focus only on what clients can do.
What you’ll see
Property header
- The top section shows your Developer, Project / Community, City, and Unit Number.
- A Start Tour button launches a short, step‑by‑step walkthrough of the page.
Summary cards
- Total Amount: The total value of your plan (excluding general fees).
- Upcoming Payment: The next amount expected. This is useful for planning your next transfer.
Clients information (if more than one buyer)
- If your unit has multiple buyers, you’ll see each Client with their Total Payment contribution so far.
Tabs you can use
Installments
Your main view. Each row is an installment with:
- Due Date: “Post Handover” appears when an installment is due after handover.
- Description: The label of the installment (may include a percentage).
- Status: One of Paid, Upcoming, or Overdue (overdue rows are highlighted).
- Amount / Paid / Balance: Financial totals for that installment.
- Actions: If the installment isn’t fully paid, you’ll see a Pay button.
Expand a row to see the payments recorded against that installment:
- Each payment shows Date, Description, Client, and Applied amount.
- A PENDING tag means your submission is awaiting review by the company team.
- If a payment you submitted is still pending, you can Edit it.
- Attachments: If documents were added to a payment, use View Attachments to open them. (Clients can view but don’t upload payment‑level files.)
Payments
A chronological list of all your payments for this property:
- Columns include Date, Description, Client, and Amount.
- Pending payments show a PENDING badge. You can Edit pending ones from here too.
- Use View Attachments where available to open the related files.
Logs
- This tab is for internal use and is not shown to clients.
General fees
If your plan has a General fee, it appears above the Installments table.
- You’ll see the Fee description, the Total, and whether it’s Paid or still Pending.
- If it isn’t paid yet, a Pay Fee shortcut appears so you can settle it quickly.
Common actions
Start a quick tour
- Click Start Tour near the page header.
- Follow the on‑screen steps to learn where everything lives.
Pay an installment
- On the Installments tab, find an installment with Actions → Pay.
- Click Pay and follow the form steps.
- Submit. The payment will appear as PENDING until it’s reviewed.
Pay a general fee
- In the General fee section, click Pay Fee.
- Complete the payment steps and submit.
Edit a pending payment
- Go to Installments (expand the relevant row) or Payments.
- Find your PENDING payment and click Edit.
- Update the details and save. (Once approved, the payment can no longer be edited.)
View payment details
- In the expanded Installment row, click the Client name to open the Transaction Details pop‑up. This shows type, amount, date, and any attachments.
View or upload documents (group files)
- At the bottom of the page you’ll see an Attachments section for your property.
- View existing files listed there.
- To upload new documents (e.g., transfer slips, IDs):
- Click to select files (or drag & drop).
- Optionally add a title for each file.
- Click Upload Attachments.
Note: Clients can upload group‑level documents here. Payment‑specific files are uploaded by the company team.
Tips & notes
- Amounts are shown in AED and numbers use standard digit grouping (e.g., 12,345).
- Overdue installments are highlighted to help you prioritize.
- A PENDING badge means the company still needs to review your submission—no action needed from you unless we contact you.
- If your page looks different, it may be because your company has customized labels or visibility.
Troubleshooting
- I can’t see the Pay button. The installment might already be fully paid, or it isn’t currently payable online. Check the Payments tab for what’s been recorded.
- My payment is still Pending. Reviews can take a bit—this is normal. You’ll see the status change once it’s processed.
- I need to update a mistake. If the payment is PENDING, use Edit. If it’s already approved, contact your support representative.
- I don’t see the Logs tab. That’s expected for client accounts.
