Introduction

Use the Template Settings page to connect a WhatsApp (or other messaging) template to your company and control whether template-based reminders are sent.

Accessing the Page

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Reminders.
  2. Click Template Settings.
  • Current Settings (summary card): Shows the saved Token, selected Main Template, and Status (Active/Inactive).
  • Token Field: Input for your messaging service token.
  • Validate & Pick Template button: Verifies the token and fetches available templates you can use.
  • Template Selector: Dropdown to choose your Main Template once templates are fetched.
  • Enable Template Sending toggle: Turn template-based sending on or off.
  • Save Settings button: Saves your selections for the current company.

Note: If no company is selected, you’ll be prompted to select one first.

Key Features

  • Token Validation & Template Discovery: Quickly verify a token and fetch templates tied to it.
  • Per‑Company Configuration: Settings are saved for the currently selected company only.
  • Status Control: Enable or disable template sending without losing your saved configuration.
  • At‑a‑Glance Summary: See the current token, selected template, and status.

Common Tasks

1) Validate a Token and Load Templates

  1. Paste your Messaging Service Token into the Token field.
  2. Click Validate & Pick Template.
  3. After validation, a list of available templates appears in the dropdown.
  4. (Optional) The first template may be auto-selected; you can change it from the dropdown.

2) Choose the Main Template

  1. Open the Select Main Template dropdown.
  2. Pick the template you want to use for reminders.

3) Enable or Disable Template Sending

  1. Use the Enable Template Sending toggle:
    • On (Active): Template reminders can be sent.
    • Off (Inactive): Template reminders are disabled.
  2. Your current status is also visible in the Current Settings card.

4) Save Your Settings

  1. Click Save Settings.
  2. A success message confirms the changes have been saved.

Tips

  • Company Context: Ensure the correct company is selected before making changes.
  • Token First: Always validate a new token before selecting a template.
  • Make it Active: Turn on Enable Template Sending to start using the selected template.

Troubleshooting

  • “Please select a company first”
    Select a company in the header, then return to Template Settings.
  • “Please insert token” / “Please fill in all fields”
    Enter a valid token and choose a template before saving.
  • “Failed to fetch templates”
    Re‑check the token and try Validate & Pick Template again.
  • No Templates Shown After Validation
    The token may not have any templates associated with it. Confirm with your messaging provider.

FAQ

  • Does disabling template sending delete my settings?
    No. Your token and selected template remain saved; only sending is paused.
  • Are settings shared across companies?
    No. Each company maintains its own token, template, and status.
